Demo Day is Undaunted’s flagship event. Our climate innovation community comes together to celebrate the latest cohort as they graduate from The Greenhouse accelerator, pouring what they’ve learnt over the past 12 months into impressive pitches to investors.

Our most recent Demo Day took place on 8 May 2025. Cohort 7 of The Greenhouse took to the historic stage at The Royal Institution to pitch to investors and Imperial’s climate innovation community. Each founder had just five minutes to pitch, and five minutes of Q&As, and it was afternoon jam packed with passionate presentations and intelligent solutions to tackle climate change. Biofonic

Biofonic is unearthing new soil insights to accelerate sustainable land management through its below-ground acoustic sensors and AI. The team won first prize pitch at Demo Day.

Sequinova

Sequinova‘s biodegradable sequin textiles and glitter are plastic-free, metal-free, mineral-free and non-toxic, meaning that they leave no residue as they return to nature at the end of their product lifecycle. The team won second prize pitch at Demo Day.

HUID

HUID is on a mission to reduce our single waste plastic consumption, by exploring the potential of onion skins. Utilising the vast amounts of allium waste we generate globally, HUID aims to create various material applications that are better for the planet. The team won third prize pitch at Demo Day.

Air Ceramics
Air Ceramics creates recyclable pollution-absorbing ceramics that combat passive air pollution. Sold as three different everyday products, they seamlessly assimilate into various markets.

CapChar turns your wood into biochar suitable for agricultural application.

Deep Blue Biotech

Deep Blue Biotech is developing chemicals for the net zero future.

FiData

Fidata deploys AI to accelerate ESG investments for financial institutions. Its solution enables financial institutions to effortlessly perform high-quality ESG assessments on investments and achieve accurate financial insights.

Mechapres

Mechapres is developing affordable and easy to integrate heat pumping and waste heat recovery solutions for industrial steam generation.

Medusa

Medusa Labs is accelerating climate mitigation by storing carbon dioxide into minerals.

Sealeo
Sealeo is on a mission to eliminate waste in the pharmaceutical industry by revolutionizing last-mile vaccine delivery. Sealeo offers a novel packaging material designed to keep vaccines cold passively, effectively, and affordably.
Seasprout

Seasprout converts shrimp shell waste into biodegradable products for the horticulture and agriculture industry by replacing HDPE plastic while fostering sustainable fishing communities.

Tera Mira

Tera Mira s rethinking stretch textiles from nature’s perspective. The team is developing a revolutionary bio-based, biodegradable alternative to synthetic elastane by transforming invasive seaweed into high-performance stretch fibres.

Ventrix

Ventrix is a new modular Direct Air Capture (DAC) product to be integrated and scaled to commercial buildings. It offers businesses low operating costs to reduce carbon emissions on-site and progress with their net-zero targets with a financially and environmentally viable solution.
