Global network of accelerators

Our network has great ambition to maximise our collective impact in the face of the biggest global challenges facing humanity. Our aim? To harness the power of accelerators, incubators and other organisations who offer vital support to green innovators, with the objective of helping solutions scale quickly and delivering the greatest positive impact. We will be creating an active programme to share the best opportunities, expertise, resources and infrastructure with the most impressive and inspiring founders wherever they are based. Join us!

Help us to create a better future for everyone

Our global network of accelerators has a vision

The network’s initial members – based in locations that include all current and former Earthshot Prize host cities – are already providing world-class support for green innovators in different regions worldwide. Our aim is to connect these mature and emerging climate innovation supporters and fast-track the best solutions to some of the biggest problems facing humanity.
We aim to improve the likelihood of innovators scaling at speed by expanding their access to a larger pool of experts, technological infrastructure, customers, funders and markets, when they join any accelerator in the network. We envisage a future where information flows more freely to the right people at the right time, making it easier for stakeholders to find each other, access resources, identify opportunities and work together successfully. Furthermore, the network aims to:

  • Create visibility across the global climate innovation ecosystem
  • Transform global access to resources, markets and capital, and build capacity, particularly in emerging markets
  • Free support from local silos
  • Provide essential local context

“Like The Earthshot Prize, accelerators exist to speed solutions to scale. Scaling enough climate solutions across the world will require entrepreneurs to successfully take their solutions from one market to the next. This network offers new hope that we can collectively increase the speed and likelihood of startups achieving scale and global positive impact.”

Hannah Jones, CEO of The Earthshot Prize

“It’s brilliant to see that the number organisations dedicated to supporting green innovators globally is flourishing – we are seeing the emergence of a thriving world-wide web of action to create a sustainable and just future. This kind of tailor-made support for green founders is vital in our efforts to tackle the world’s climate and environmental challenges in intelligent ways, at pace, at scale, and taking all of the world’s citizens with us on this journey.

What’s missing is a way to harness the power of these hubs across countries and continents. We need to work together to more equitably distribute opportunities and resources; to channel the vital expertise and infrastructure, funders and markets, that these accelerators offer towards the right founders at the right time, to maximise our collective impact.

The new network brings together world-leaders in climate innovation support to make this happen. Join us!”
