Imperial leads £5m collaboration to scale UK climate startups

Funding from Research England Development Fund will enable Imperial and partners to support climate science startups to commercial deployment.

“Climate innovation is thriving within and around UK university hubs, and this funding shows UKRI’s commitment to supercharging this kind of high-potential research,” said Alyssa Gilbert, Director of Undaunted. “We will work with our collaborators to smash barriers currently preventing the scale up of technologies…”

Notpla secures £20m in Series A+ funding to revolutionise sustainable packaging

Massive congratulations to Pierre-Yves Paslier and Rodrigo García González who co-founded Notpla as students at Imperial. Closing their Series A+ funding round with over $25 million in new investment is an incredible achievement. We can’t wait to see what’s on the horizon for Notpla’s sustainable alternative to single-use plastic packaging.
